Please go on a couple group hikes first. This is a 7 mile hike, and may be more distance and more hilly then you are used to in the past. I suggest you go on a hike of at least 4 or 5 miles and time yourself to finish it in two hours or less. That will help you get an idea of this hike's intensity.
