Boonshoft Museum of Discovery (map)
They have laser shows set to music on some evenings, though the website is somewhat unclear on what the schedule is exactly. It's a pretty visceral experience, if you like that kind of thing. Check this page for details: http://www.boonshoftmuseum.org/plan-your-vi...

I need to call and find out what is up with their schedule, since it only lists 9pm-and-later shows on December 16th. I assume there is also a friday in Jan. or Feb. Also Larry Cat in Space is the best, Matt, the absolute best.
Yeah I kinda forgot about it. Looks like the musical shows are on every third Friday, so let's put it on Feb 17.
BTW, there is also free observing, weather permitting, from 8-11. Going to schedule it so we have some time to decide which show we want to see before the 9 o'clock show starts.
I changed the date and time to Friday, February 17, 2012 at 7:45 PM
So, small problem, the schedule changed drastically since this was planned, and there is no rock music anywhere on it. However there is this SpacePark360 thing that should work. It's like a... space roller coaster... thing. Whatever, I'm sure it'll be good enough. It's all about the viscerals anyway.
Hi, guys, i just called the museum-- it's 4 movies tonight, but the "special technology" for the laser show just opened today, so there's none of that yet tonight.
Also, looks like the cost is $5, not $2. Guess that changed too.
Its a good idea, but we need to be more clear on dates and times, I don't think too many people want to see Larry Cat in Space, though the rock shows look cool and its a good Friday Meetup.
