Puerto Rican Pot Luck

Kinda self explanatory but here I go. How about we all do a pot luck with only Puerto Rican dishes. This would be a great way to connect with each other and have some good PR food all at the same time! What do you guys think?

Sri made a good suggestion, maybe it would actually be easier to just link up at a restaurant this time just to decrees the amount of work on all of us. I know cooking can be kinda time consuming. I know of one good Puerto Rican restaurant in the OC we could try. However, it would probably be a little easier for everyone if we found something more central LA. Any thoughts?

We still need a location! I asked around and have heard nothing but good things about the place Jeff recommended called Senior Big Ed. What do you all think? This would enable us to have authentic Puerto Rican food without the cooking and clean up. Any thoughts?

That should work Ryan, however, I've never had Puerto Rican food before, so it should be interesting.

Raquel - Senor Big Ed has soooooo much puerto rican food in their menu you can't go wrong. I could help you select :) I have a few other puertorican friends that will go if we decide on senor big ed ... like I said before we go there once a month or so ... I am glad it is in cypress if it was on the west side i would weight 300 lbs more than I do now :) The food is just amazing.

I live in the OC so it works for me. I think it would be best to keep the location as is unless someone can recommend a better Puerto Rican restaurant that is central to everyone.

Also, I just invited like 5 other Puerto Ricans that live in the OC that are coming for sure and really don't want to change it up on them after they just made conformation.
