Your question on linking to tax accounts:
Call up the Chart of Accounts.Highlight an account & click Ctrl-E for Edit.Pull down the Tax-Line Mapping field and select the correct Line on the tax return where this amount should go.

If you're a sole proprietor, you'll be linking to the Schedule C of the 1040 (your personal return).

I would go to www.irs.gov & print out the Schedule C, so you can easily identify where the data goes. If an account is not needed, leave it marked as Unassigned.
