Hey everyone! As one of the resident Minnesotans in the group, I always get excited when my hometown Twins come to Fenway (even though they are not very good... like, at all.) I have found that one of the best ways to see a Red Sox game is to do Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets. You get a great view of the field and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg (which is good because you'll need two of the latter to stand on)! Let's meet at 6:30 p.m. across the street from the Cask 'n' Flagon (62 Brookline Avenue, Boston) on the end of the bridge, away from the heavy foot traffic. We'll then all go to get in the SRO line on Landsdowne Street. Tickets are $25 apiece (or at least were last year).
IMPORTANT - if you come a little late, no problem, but we will already be inside staking out our location in the 3rd Base Pavilion. When you go to get your tickets, be VERY SPECIFIC - tell the ticket agent you want "3rd Base Pavilion Standing Room Only". If you don't tell them that, they will likely give you lower level tickets which have narrower concourses and do not have as good a view. Text me at[masked] if you get any confused looks with this, and I'll come down to the window before you buy your tickets.
Hope to see you there!
