Charity Happy Hour at Gua Rapo!

Okay, time to get together for our next happy hour!
Our happy hour will benefit the Alzheimer's Association (DC chapter)... http://www.alz.org/nca/... a non-profit organization providing help and hope to over 80,000 people diagnosed, their families, and care partners in the DC metro area impacted by Alzheimer's and related disorders... suggested $10 donation. Please note 80% of donations go to the Alzheimer's Assocation and 20% of donations will go to the 30s & 40s Going Out Group to cover Meetup fees and expenses.
DJ Saam will be spinning loungy groovy beats for us. Our happy hours typically bring out 150 - 200 folks... and I wouldn't be surprised with a similar turnout this time around.
If you haven't been there before, Gua Rapo is a sleek lounge with international flair, hookah pipes, and "guarapo" (meaning sugarcane juice) cocktails, for which the place is named after! 21+
To help continue the friendly tone of this group... I'd like to again encourage each person to have a GOAL OF MEETING 3 NEW PEOPLE at this event. To help do this, for an icebreaker, we'll put your name in a jar as you walk in, and then give you someone else's name from the jar. Also, 20s & 30s Rockstars, please help make all the newcomers feel welcome to our group!

Metro
Closest Metro is Courthouse (Orange Line), just 2 stops outside of DC, I suggest metro / cabbing it (esp. during rush hour). I also recommend using wmata for travel plans. Don't forget to account for Metro and traffic delays.

Oh! i remember talking to someone ( sorry, i'm bad at remembering names) about salsa @ cecilia's.i couldn't get back to you because i was signing people in later on. if you're still interested in catching up with your salsa, let me know.
