Hello, How are you doing? I have joined this group because I think that it fits better my age. I work a lot (2 jobs) like some of us and got a hard time to have a social life.
I saw from the meet up 20s & 30s page.
I was born in Vietnam but raised in France where I got most of my education.
I may joint for some cultural events, smaller intimate dinners, something after work. Time is a challenging factor.
Hello, I just registered to this group. From what I read it seems that it is a very nice group (J.T. seems great too.)

Welcome Catherine!
I hope you find something on our schedule that interests you. Please email me any time at [masked] with any questions you may have.
Wow, late on Sundays? If I build it, they may come. We'll try it sometime later. Just need to settle some of my affairs and find a venue. Keep your eyes open :-)
Hi Catherine. We are getting many new French speakers in our Vietnamese group. Would you be interested in attending a French-Viet event? I can set it up.
I haven't checked my meetup messages in awhile so I missed your greetings. Hello
Merci...le chien, elle s'appelle Marley. Mais elle n'habite pas avec moi maintenance :-(

OMG, I actually understood what you wrote in French :-)
Welcome to the NOVA / DC Vietnamese Culture group, Catherine! Hope to see you at an event soon! Check out our calendar & come whenever you can... they're tons of fun. Cheers & hen gap lai (see you soon)! :)
Salut Catherine - Il faudra qu'on se rencontre un de ces 4, étant donné qu'on possède tous les 2 pratiquement le même background ;o)
Hi Catherine. Welcome to Washington DC Viet Alliance.
My parents are from the countryside as well (near Long Xuyen). It is very peaceful there. And Tet in Saigon is fun only if you have family. Most places close down and everyone stays home to eat, visit friends and family and gamble playing tien len :-)
Can you make it our ladies only shopping and fun night at Tysons Corner tomorrow? Check out the sales and meet some chill Viet ladies.
See you later!
