I'm originally from North Carolina but have been in and out of DC since 1999 (sojourns in NY state, Edinburgh Scotland, and Charlottesville). I worked in a historic house museum for a while, but I'm now a full time PhD student.

Hi Megan! Glad you joined the 30s and 40s Group! We look forward to seeing you at the next event!
Hey Megan,
I just wanted to say I had a great time hanging out before the show and getting to know you a bit better. I thought the show was great too. Look forward to hanging out again sometime, at meetups and perhaps otherwise if you are interested, though I know you are very busy.
I see, basically the late Georgian period then. Lots of interesting stuff in terms of American Naval affairs in that period since the Navy was so young and unorthodox in some of its methods. Hopefully you will be able to make it to a meetup sometime soon, we got some good stuff coming up. Did you see the one for the Dr. Who Burlesque? I haven't decided if I'm going to that one yet. Hope to see you soon!
Hey Megan,
It was good to meet you two weeks ago. I didn't message sooner because I was hoping to see you again this week, but I know how busy you must be and was not surprised not to. I enjoyed talking with you and felt we had a lot in common and would like to get to know you more. I know you said your historical interest is in the Atlantic Seaboard, but what period? I'm guessing since you worked for CW before probably Colonial/Revolu
tionary. I am a Civil War era enthusiast myself.
Welcome to Good Reads and Good Eats, Megan!
Welcome to CYP, Megan, hope to see ya at an upcoming event!
