I moved the the area almost 4 years ago. I live in Falls Church and work in Bethesda. My interests vary widely. I love music, movies, pets, eating out, and reading. I love meeting new people.

I moved here from South Carolina, but grew up in Georgia. I have lived in a few places across the south.

Hey Charlotte Anne,
Thanks for joining the group! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pup!
Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. Know a good thing when you see it, and don't let it slip away. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just said it would be worth it!
Do you dance salsa?
I wish you great day.

Pride and Prejudice is a definate winner. Thanks for the suggestion of Saxby's Coffee!
Thats great (re Drive By Truckers) I will post it and put you as a the host - Thanks!
CA - Dang, wouldn't you know that Jenny/Elizabeth
would put our two suggestions on the same poll! I went ahead and voted for "Bankok 8" (sounds interesting) because I've already read "Odd Thomas" - but liked it a LOT, and thought it might be fun to discuss/re-read
. On a different page (pun intended) - I didn't go to the meeting for "Room" - am still listening to it (2/3 finished) via audible file...a VERY irritating and disturbing book! See ya soon!
- K.
Oh, that last all said - I see that you're also in "Book Meet&Eat" - - and THAT selection, "Room" looks pretty interesting. Maybe I'll see you there, for that one!
Charlotte Anne - nice chatting w/ you...in the parking garage...after bookclub on Sun.
Anyway, yeah, this next book IS too "teen-angst/rom
antic" for me. I won't say it's too much of a "chick book" because I've been know to read those! But, I lost it when I got to the part of Amazon's review, "Rose longs for suitors and new tea dresses..." Unless the suitors are zombies, and the tea dresses are on fire - I don't think I'm up for this one! Good luck - chat w/ you more at future meetings!
Hi Charlotte, welcome to the group! ...and of COURSE you are young! Aaaah, it is all a matter of how we feel. ;) I really look forward to having you at our first event. It will def be a great time!
I love your cat, he is so cute
