Volunteer Activity - Seed Packing

Once again this year we'll be working with Willow Creek Community Church for their annual seed packing initiative.  This year, Willow Creek hopes to pack close to 400,000 seed packs for families in El Salvador.  These vegetables help bring fresh, nutritious meals to the table of a family living in extreme poverty, and the surplus crops can be sold in the market to generate much-needed income.

Click HERE to learn more about how these seeds can impact the lives of so many.

We will be packing seeds on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 at the Willow Chicago Ministry Center at 418 S Wabash Avenue.

More than 1,000 seed-packing volunteer spots are available, and this is a family-friendly activity. Invite family and friends to join you as we work together to send squash, cucumber, spinach, tomato, green bean and cabbage seeds to families in El Salvador.
