It's that time again! Time to get our Board Game on!
This month we'll be holding the Meetup at The Beer Cellar at The Beer Bistro.
The Beer Cellar is the spacious lower level event space which has plenty of room for us to eat, drink, be merry and beat the crap out of each other in dominoes. We'll bring the usual assortment of games including Taboo, Fact or Crap, Uno and Jenga as well as playing cards for those who want to play Spades or Bidwhist. Feel free to bring along your favorite games as well. The more the merrier. We will be in basement from 1pm - 5pm but after that we will be free to hang out upstairs.
For those of you who are new to our little social group, the Board Games meetup is a great event for first timers, so come on out and meet some new folks and have fun with us!
Located in the West Loop, the Beer Bistro is easy to get to via public transportation. Street parking is available and while not exactly easy it's not terribly difficult most of the time although some times it's tougher to find a spot than others.
The Chicago Black Professionals Meetup is a group primarily made up of men and women over the age of 21 here in the Chicago area whom share an interest in ethnic heritages rooted in the African diaspora. We come from broadly diverse educational, professional, and social backgrounds, but we have a common interest: to come together for social networking. We strive to promote social connections between our members, and to promote a healthy and free exchange of information and ideas between the members of the group that will enrich their lives.
Please note that our events are intended for adults over the age of 21. Exceptions will be noted in the event descriptions or comments.
