SAT. 1/26, MEET AT 1P We will start our weekend with an afternoon wine tasting at the Lynfred Winery(15 South Roselle Road Roselle, IL). Taste 7 wines for $9, cheese and fruit snack plates are available for $5. Then we will enjoy a complimentary tour of their wine production facility. Our hostess will guide us through the cellar while sharing the history of Lynfred Winery, and revealing the secrets of wine production from grape to bottle. Tour starts at 2p and lasts approximately 20 - 30 minutes depending on guest questions.
Then the excitement builds as we drive to the nearby Villa Olivia ski area(1401 W Lake St, Bartlett IL) for a thrilling snowtubing adventure under the stars & full moon 4p-6p, $17.Only 30 spots available, get your tickets now!
After, we will head to the beautiful Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca to spend the night. Enjoy an indoor pool/hot tub party on arrival(bring your swimsuit!), 2 restaurants, a bar/lounge with fireplace & jukebox, and an outdoor patio with firepit. Bring your fave wine or other beverage & snacks to share at our Afterparty.
SUN. 1/27 There will be a 9AM Sunday group buffet breakfast(included). However, breakfast is served 6:30a-10:30a and you are welcome to eat whenever suits you and your activity schedule best. Hotel check out is at 12p. If you would like to take some time to de-stress or work out, you will find massage/treatment rooms, spa services, a spa tub, a fitness facility, a sauna and a steam room on site. You must call the spa to book your own service. [masked] http://www.eaglewoodresort.com/Spa/spa_index.asp
Plan to arrive 30 min before your appointment to check in, change into your spa robe and relax with a cup of tea or juice in the Tranquility Room with other CBPSN members having treatments!
Robin T will be there at 11AM for a mineral scrub, lavendar wrap & a refresher facial. If you are getting a massage, schedule it at least 1 hour after you finish breakfast. A massage on a full stomach can be very uncomfortable. Please complete all spa services by 2:30p if you plan to go to Medieval Times for dinner.
If you are *NOT* having spa services(or you finish early), other leisure facilities include an arcade/game room and a pool table. Or you could have fun bowling 12:30-2:30p at the on-site bowling alley($7/person, limit 18)
If 6 more people want to bowl after the first 12 spots fill, we may be able to get another lane(for a total of 18 bowlers), but no guarantees.
Another option is taking the free shuttle to Woodfield Mall for shopping. Or maybe just relax in the lounge with a book, your laptop, shooting pool or a game of Spades with other CBPSN friends. Bring cards or small board games in your travel bag if you like.
SUNDAY 3P We will meet in the hotel lobby at 3p to conclude our weekend with an early 4 course dinner at Medieval Times! Group check in is 4p, dinner is at 4:30pm(2001 N.
