This is a VERY UNIQUE Adventure. DO NOT pass this one up.

You may have heard the stories of Skeleton Creek - here is your chance to experience the reality of it for yourself. Who knows how many Skeletons we will see?

The odds of me repeating this adventure are very low.

No other club has hiked this creek before. Be in the first group and maybe the last to even attempt this.

This is a truly UNFORGETTABLE ADVENTURE OF A LIFETIME!!!

You will experience a true EXTREME - WILD AND CRAZY TIME!

You will experience mystery!

You will experience intrigue!

You will experience beauty, rugged terrain and waterfalls.

This is rated EXTREME because of the heavy bushes, creek crossings and very steep and rugged ground. Warning: your feet may get wet. I would compare it to hiking in Linville Gorge.

This is NOT your usual type of hike at all because MOST of this is OFF TRAIL.

If you enjoy nice marked trails please pick another hike.

Please be prepared for an all day adventure.

Note:

Please wear hiking boots/shoes or a good pair of sneakers.

I do highly recommended that you bring a walking stick or poles, wear long pants, and a long sleeve shirt.

Bring your backpack or something to carry your food, snacks and water in. Make sure you have enough water or other drinks with you. Bring rain gear just in case of rain.

From Greensboro we will carpool near Dick's Sporting Goods and the Dress Barn at Wendover Plaza, 1208-A Bridford Parkway. Please meet there at 7:15AM. We will leave Greensboro 7:30AM SHARP!

From Winston Salem we will carpool from Centre Stage Shopping Center's Parking Lot (305 Jonestown Road, Winston-Salem, NC). Here's a map to help you find the carpool location (map). Once you get there, look for my greenish Nissan Quest van parked near Burger King facing Jonestown Rd. If I am not there yet, keep looking for my van to arrive.

Get there by 7:55AM. We will leave from there at 8:10 SHARP.

Warning! Please be on time. If you come late we will be gone.

Please pay your share to help cover the high cost of gas to the driver if you are sharing the vehicle.

This a leisurely hike with no fast hiking. We will hike this as a group and not have people way ahead of us or in back of us. We will take time to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

IMPORTANT: You MUST agree to hike at a leisurely pace to be part of this hike.
