Bus to DC to Stop Cove Point & Other Gas Export Facilities

On Sunday July 13th we'll come together in Washington, DC, to send a decisive message to President Obama and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission: say “NO!” to fracked gas exports!

It's a critical time to act. FERC is nearing a decision on a proposed fracked gas export facility at Cove Point, on the fragile and important Chesapeake Bay. For far too long, FERC has put the interests of the oil and gas industry above our health, safety and climate, rubber-stamping project after project. It's time to say "ENOUGH!"

We'll join movement leaders like Tim DeChristopher and Sandra Steingraber to call on President Obama and FERC to reject gas exports, at Cove Point and nationwide, and instead redouble investments in the wind, solar and energy efficiency technologies that will support good jobs and a stable climate for all.

A BUS HAS BEEN ARRANGED. Tickets are only $5 (plus a processing fee of $1.27) - and best of all, the $5 goes to 350NYC!

The bus will leave from 8th Ave. and 34th St. at 8:00 am, and will return by 9:00 pm. Tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/new-york-busing-for-first-national-stop-gas-exports-tickets-11968332605

Sorry, I will not be joining the bus, but I have given my two tickets: Peter E and Carlos C. If they don't arrive for the bus, please give my ticket to anyone else in need. Have a good one.....say something for me.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
