Ok...I'll bite. Back in the day (mid-70's) I hitch hiked from WPB, FLA to Western Massachusetts in the Berkshires. It was a filled with many strange adventures. I remember being stuck outside of the famous "South of the Border" schlock emporium in South Carolina. After buying a kazoo I stepped outside to the most amazing and colorful display of moths, butterflies and unidentifiable bugs clinging to the exterior wall. They were downright psychedelic. During the whole trip we were able to enjoy a sky that was filled with stars uncloaked by the glare of city lights. Gorgeous! But the kicker was when we arrived at our destination...Lenox, Mass. It was early spring and there was still a chill in the air. Everything was starting to come alive but the biggest impression that I'll never forget, was the smell of the place. It just smelled clean, unpolluted and invigorating. Untouched by industrial stench. I breathed deeply and just enjoyed the freshness of it all. Let's get back to the garden!
