This ride is a class 1 as all driving will be in town and at lower speeds. That also means traffic signals. In this situation it is best to tighten up the group. Lagging behind encourages splitting at intersections when lights change. Keep it tight when driving in town and at lower speeds.
Keep in mind that many of these dealers are also at the final weekend of Bike Week in Daytona Beach. HOG will usually have a table there, too. It's a good place to ask questions. I have requested that each dealership has someone assigned to us to help with questions. We should stay as a group at these places as often someone will ask a question that you wish you had heard the answer. I've also given each dealership an approximate time of our arrival. We will spend no more than 30 minutes at each shop.
Please be prompt at our meeting spot and have a full tank. There are no fuel stops or rest stops planned on this ride as it is very short. From Starbucks to the last dealership is less than 40 miles. Yet, this will take over 4 hours as we spend close to 2.5 hours looking at bikes.
- We will start at Harley Davidson of the Palm Beaches. Here you can see a great collection of motorcycles.
- The second stop will be Palm Beach Motorcycles, just down the road. This Honda / Kawasaki / Suzuki dealer recently changed ownership to Broward Motorsports.
- Our next stop will be Greater Yamaha. While specializing in Yamaha products, they have boats, wave runners, and other things to look at.
- Further down the trail we'll stop at Iron Eagle. They specialize in Titan and previously owned Harley's and are very active in the motorcycle community. Always a nice place to visit.
- Finally, we'll end our ride at Palm Beach Triumph and Victory in Boynton Beach. You'll have a chance to see the Rocket and have a Vision in the same place.
- We'll lunch somewhere afterwards and talk about all the bikes we see. Naturally, there will be a picture of you with your favorite bike.
This will be a great day for bikers, especially those that have interest in the many bikes that are out there. Whether your buying or not, it's always fun to look.
