Throughout my adult years I have repeatedly seen both Republican and Democratic Presidential candidates vow to do this, or vow to do that; promise this, or promise that . . . Then, after winning an election, and assuming the role of president, whether Republican or Democrat, within time, the so-called promising lies become apparent, and the American public is mocked, as our civil liberties and constitutional rights are increasingly chisled away. My biggest FEAR is that America, the land of the FREE, will become another North Korea or Nazi regime if our elected presidents are ALLOWED to continue chipping away at our Constitutional Rights and Civil Liberties. I believe Ron Paul's an honest man of his words, not afraid to tell it like it REALLY is. Unlike many in the past, who attempt to lull or pacify the American public with their empty "promises", that are really just blatant lies, because the promises they make openly in public are promises they never really intend to keep.
