Toronto 3D Printers Meetup at MakerKids (January)

Taken from The Toronto 3D Printers Website:

After a break in December, our next meetup is now scheduled to take place on January 27th at 7pm. This time though, we'll be at MakerKids in their new Digital Creations space (pictured above).

MakerKids is a youth-oriented makerspace near Dundas West station that also offers programs for adults. They've recently expanded to another floor of their building, and have started selling some retail items like Arduino kits.

There will be some Cube 3D printers on-hand, as well as (hopefully!) a few more models that our members bring with them.

As always, everyone from beginner to expert is welcome to attend, and the event is free of charge.

No worries. I do run 3D printing sessions on Saturdays at Makerkids if you're interested in introducing your kid to the technology. It's very informal but we're there to print something and talk 3D printing. All said, the meetup announced above is not children focused, it's mostly for adults I imagine... It just happens to be hosted at Makerkids (previously hosted at Site3 Maker Space)
