  • Hi David -

Just wanted to say hi and let you know about a meeting this Saturday (May 4th) which will be following up on our discussions of futurist politics at the Queen's Larder a little over two weeks ago. I hope you are able to make it along this time!

Details are here, in the Zero State meetup group:

"FUTURISM AS POLICY: What should futurists want from political change?"

    All the Best,
    Amon

  • David, welcome to this group. I've been meaning to speak with you about your blog post on "inner humanity+". I need to be more consistent in coming to London Futurist meetings.

  • Hi David - brilliant. I'd love to see that film. And the publicity will be great - I agree. I'd certainly post about it on my blog too at http://livingto150.com. How can I make sure I get to know about it when it is available? Thanks, Malc

  • Hi David - your series of talks coming up looks fascintating! I'd love to hear Aubrey - but it's impossible for me that day. Can you think of any way I could be updated about the content - particuarly his anti-aging progress? I'd appreciate knowing of anyone who is especially interested in this topic and maybe share their notes... I am at the "QS" Meetup tonight and will check there too. Did you mention a possible film? Many thanks for possible help, and hope to see you on September 15th. :-)

  • David, thanks to you, your wife and your team for organising a fascinating day of lectures about Transhumanism (and a lot more!) yesterday at your annual conference.

Dorset Humanists, HASSNERS & Humanists4Science are having a discussion evening on The Ethics of Transhumanism in Bournemouth on Wednesday, 20th July evening. It would be great if you could come along and talk to our group. Anders Sandberg from Oxford Uni has also expressed an interest in talking at our meeting.

  • Thanks David. Good to meet you as well. I heard about this group from Paul's blog. Roko and I have been chatting about the idea of large-scale cryonics over on Less wrong as well. I'm also a huge fan of space travel, can't wait to get off this rock.
