I appreciated being able to be with people who brought actual examples of projects, I wish I had brought something actual to share, thank you for getting this going in our area, Mark.

I enjoyed meeting folks and seeing what you all have done and are thinking about. I also got some good advice about ways to approach the project I want to do. MY "beef" is with the setting -- so noisy it was hard for me to hear (I wear hearing aids), and we could not in anyway carry on a group conversation.

Yes, the Meadhall was noisy. I was just at a meetup at Cambridge Brewing Company, and it was not only much quieter, but apparently also easier to book a table. If there's enough interest in this being a regular thing, we'll do some extra work to find a more desirable location.

I live in Holliston and have no idea where you all are located. I am a widower with a huge house, a brand new daVinci 1.0 printer, tons of parking and would host a meeting any time. I also belong to the newly formed Framingham MakerSpace and we are about to move in to a 2000 sq ft facility in Saxonville( Framingham).

Chandler and I were there and as of 7:30 there were no other people that i could find and I had a notebook with "3D Printing" in my hand with material to discuss.

    Not very impressive

Very sorry Joe. The venue didn't make it easy to advertise our presence. When we do it again, I'll make a better effort.

Sorry to have missed you Joe. I showed up at 7:30 and the hostess kindly guided me to the table.

OK folks, I'm back from a crazy summer and want to make this thing happen. Any preferences for either Sept 17 or 24?

    September 12

    • Chandler R

I had assumed this was canceled. 24th is best for me.

I propose we meet at a bar with decent food somewhere along the Red Line, at 7pm-ish, on a less-congested Tues or Wed evening in April. Suggestions?

Depends on the date, of course. I'm also helping organize a "tips and tricks" meetup on May 21st, open to all. See http://bit.ly/3dpmeet

Apologies for dropping the ball on this meetup the past few months. I have been fully involved in the sale of my company to 3D Systems and then integration.
Another idea for a meeting I have been thinking about is maybe an early morning from say 7:30 am to 9:00 am at say Voltage Coffee in Cambridge.

Congratulations! I can understand that. Though I'd prefer an evening, I can do a morning as long as I am able to park nearby.
