Reason for joining the group is to develop REAL relationships (not just 1 stop referral to sale type situations) with professionals in different sectors. I am looking for people that share the same values as me and we can really relate on a social and intellectual level. Referrals and sales will be the by-product or a great personal relationship with key individuals. Every personal development book I have read and every successful professional/business owner I know (not just successful in 1 area in their life but many areas) emphasize the value of creating a strong network. This is something I believe in and develop as a lifestyle.
Personal Security Industry. I work for Securiguard Services in their operations department. I have been there for approx 3 years. I also worked 4 years in the mortgage industry as well.
- Connections - Other networking opportunities - Positive energy and relationship building - Referrals - Students Mindset (everyone is superior to me in some way so bringing a humble ego and a student mindset is important in any relationship building situation.
I would like to start as a casual attendee. Depending on the quality of the people I meet and relationships I build with the group facilitators I could increase participation.
Of course referral marketing is the most effective low cost marketing. Having a basic social presence can assist and help facilitate referrals. Have not had much success any other way.
