Introduction

Hi there, I'm 27 year old Lauren. I'm looking forward to making new girlfriends (boys are ok too) and checking out new venues (museum event looks amazing!). I also enjoy the overuse of parentheses (oh well).

Tell us something interesting about you. (sarcastic or smart ass if applicable)

I have a pull up bar installed in my doorway, I hate that I love Millionaire Matchmaker, I can solve a rubik's cube, I love EconTalk and StuffYouShouldKnow, I own an alarming number of shoes, and I recently lead a puberty talk for 5th grade girls.

In what area do you work/ live? <-this can help us when planning events

I live in downtown Long Beach and work at Commerce casino.

What activities/venues do you currently enjoy?

I love physical activities (especially tennis, dancing, skiing, muay thai, fishing, and hiking). I like board games and card games. There's definitely a ton of places in LA I have yet to conquer but I'm not too big on the bar scene.

What would you like to do? ** HINT: "Everything" is a boring answer

I love quirky events like the museum one coming up. I like trying new things especially if they incorporate learning or are physically invigorating. Also I would really love a game night and if you have one I will bring baked goods.

Where would you like to go? ** HINT: "Anywhere" is a borring answer

I'd like to go to special events that I probably wouldn't have heard of it wasn't for this group. It'd be fun to find a low key place for dancing and to try new great restaurants.
