Get together - share hints/tips, and more

Enthusiasts, Fan's,

As mentioned on the recent 3D-hub / Eindhoven meeting, the 3D-Hubs/Eindhoven meetup will be held on the 3rd Thursday evening.

This is (as always) an open meeting. Both for 3D-printer owners and anyone interested in 3D-print in general. The goal of the meeting is to share experiences, learn, exchange hints and tips.

Special speaker:  Mr. D. Kersten. (Additive Industries)

For this month's meetup Mr. Daan Kersten, co-founder of Eindhoven based Additive Industries
( shares how 3D-printing in applied to making metal parts for the (high tech) manufacturing industry. His presentation will include the 3D metalprinting fundamentals including the details about working with various metals. Don't miss this chance to learn how 3D printing is changing the manufacturing world in Eindhoven.

There is no fee. Just come by, see, hear and talk 3D. Location is the FabLab Eindhoven. (same as last times)

Keep watching this channel for the details on the agenda.

Enjoy the week, Cheers,

On behalf of 3DHubs / Eindhoven,

Mathé & Robert

Hi, I am really interested in starting with this world , but after a lot of checking internet I have found that the only way to get one cheap 3d printer is to get one pack to build an Iprusa 3. Which 3d printers are you using at the moment? I would like to check your suggestions before attending the next meeting , so I can "study" the options before hand. Thanks!!

      Hi Albert,

There are (too) many options and more alternatives are added daily. In the group we have many types of printers (Felix, Ultimaker, M2, RepRap, etc..).
The "best" fit is difficult to find. It's good to talk to some of the owners. (there will be some at the meetup)

Additional: some statistical data regarding the printers being used can be found here:
(this is not an indication about the quality!)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
