Background:
Girlfriends of Burbank is an established group created in March 2010 for women 35+ looking to meeting and make friends in the Burbank, California area.

Our main interest is socializing (and networking) with women our own age, at events held in the area. We have events scheduled both weekday, weeknights and evening.

If you are interested in joining our group, please click on "become a member". If you are not a member, and are interested in learning more about our group. please email the organizer directly. Only members and invited guest are permitted to attend our events. Confirmations of membership usual arrive within 1-3 days of submission. We request a voluntary donation of $ 1 per member, per month collected at the first event you attend each month.

Responding to events are important in two ways, to see if there is interest in the event and to get a head count for reservations. Many establishments require a 24 hour notice for large groups. We know things come up all the time, so we are very flexible as long as you keep the lines of communication open.


*RSVP: YES Click on the link " Count Me In if you WILL attend the event.
In limited events, PLEASE release your spot ASAP if there is any change, there is usually a waiting list.

*RSVP; If you cannot attend, please do not use the link " No thanks" . Just ignore the request. We have so many events, we would rather just see the members who are attending. However, If you need to change your RSVP, then you can remove your name by changing your RSVP to NO.

  • Please do not be a "no show"! Some of our events have limited spaces, some need reservations in advance. However, we are aware many things can come up during your day, if you can not attend you MUST change your status to I can not attend, prior to the event. Members who RSVP yes and do not show will be considered a "NO SHOW". After 3 no shows, your membership might be cancelled.

    Please check to see if your idea is already listed. If you would like to suggest an idea for an event, please take the time to include all the important information. The organizers will be able to view the idea and will review for future plans.
