Are you over 40, friendly and adventurous? You'll fit right in!  We are enthusiastic outdoorsy folk, who love outdoor activities and enjoy socializing with like minded individuals.

We love to hike, scramble, backpack or snowshoe with a healthy splash of canoeing, kayaking or whatever outdoorsy fun our volunteer organizers dream up.  You just can't beat swimming in a clear lake or soaking in natural hot springs. Typically, we drop by a local watering hole for socializing and some well earned refreshments after an event.

Our events range from day hikes to multi-day backpacks.  We are constantly seeking new challenges and discoveries, both mentally and physically.  Over the last few years, we've visited Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, the Sunshine Coast Trail (180k), Cape Scott, the Enchantments, Bowron Lakes, Berg Lake (Mt Robson Provincial Park), Tenquille Lake, Mamquam Lake, Twin Lakes, Jasper Skyline Trail, Crater Lake, Lower Stein River, Meager Creek Hotsprings, Cathedral Provincial Park and snowshoed the Zupjok-Llama-Alpaca traverse, Iago & Great Bear, Mt. Sproatt, Flatiron, Mt. Harvey, plus many other fabulous locations.

We have some fun plans brewing too.  We are planning the John Muir Trail, Patagonia's Torres del Paine Circuit, the Nootka Trail, the Stein Traverse and the Berg Lake Trail to name a few; others you'll just have to wait and see...

As a group, we all want to enjoy a safe outdoors lifestyle.  However, keep in mind, we are volunteer event hosts not trained outdoor specialists, medical attendants or professional guides.  Outdoor activities are inherently risky - your participation in any of our events is entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Come join us exploring the trails less traveled here in beautiful BC and beyond.
