Are you over 40, friendly and adventurous? You'll fit right in!
We are enthusiastic outdoorsy folk, who love outdoor activities and enjoy socializing with like minded individuals.
Our events range from a couple of hours to multi-day backpacks. We are seeking new challenges and discoveries, both mentally and physically.
We hike, scramble, backpack or snowshoe with a healthy splash of canoeing, kayaking or whatever outdoorsy fun our volunteer organizers dream up. You just can't beat swimming in a clear lake or soaking in natural hot springs. Typically, we drop by a local watering hole for socializing and some well earned refreshments after an event.
Over the last few years, we've conquered Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens, The Loowit Trail, The Sunshine Coast Trail (180k), The North Coast Trail, Cape Scott, The Enchantments, Bowron Lakes, Berg Lake (Mt Robson Provincial Park), Tenquille Lake, Tetrahedron Park, Mamquam Lake, Twin Lakes, Chelan Lakeshore Trail, Jasper Skyline Trail, Crater Lake, Lower Stein River, Meager Creek Hotsprings, Cathedral Provincial Park, the Howe Sound Crest Trail, Panorama Ridge, Wedgemont Lake and snowshoed the Zupjok-Llama-Alpaca traverse, Iago & Great Bear, Mt. Sproatt, Flatiron to Portia Peak, Mt. Harvey, plus many other fabulous locations.
We have some fun plans brewing for 2016 too. The John Muir Trail, Mt. Hood, snowshoeing Mt. St. Helens, the West Coast Trail and the Nootka Trail to name a few; others you will just have to wait and see...
As a group, we all want to enjoy a safe outdoors lifestyle. However, keep in mind, we are not trained outdoor specialists, medical attendants or professional guides. Outdoor activities are inherently risky - your participation in any of our events is entirely AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Come join us exploring the trails less traveled here in beautiful BC and beyond.
