Meeting will be on the 3rd Saturday of the month (per usual)
Saturday February 15th at 7pm
We will be discussing "Garden Spells"  by Sarah Addison Allen

This month we are going to meet at Robynn's Home (Haller Lake Area)

Along with discussion questions please bring:

WINE (or other beverage) To consume and to share if you are so inclined.

Nibbly Bits AKA "Food" To consume and to share if you are so inclined.

Robynn has all the paper goods necessary, plates, cups, utensils, etc.  If you want to use the kitchen to prep/finish anything, it is available, advance notice appreciated, but not mandatory.

Please Map the Address prior to trying to find it. The house is not visible from the street so look for the orange traffic cone at the driveway. The house numbers are on the fence.  House is  is WEST of I-5 Robynn's # is[masked] and Shannon's is #[masked]

There are 2 dogs, both very friendly.  One will likely hang out with us, the other will likely not.  Anyone with dog issues should feel free to let Robynn know and she can manage/contain them as needed.  Cat allergies - they don't currently have them, but have had them in the house.

Street parking is

an issue as there is a ton of it.  YEAY!

BUS- There are 2 nearby bus lines if people need those - 358 on Aurora, and 346 on Meridian.   Check Metro Trip Planner for more details.

As always bring any venue suggestions for future meet ups -
Info about the locations should include parking options, size (and cost) of space, availability, beverage and food selection (don't need whole menu, but if the selections are extensive or sparse etc.), address- or general neighborhood, and whatever other information that may seem relevant. For this (our Seattle) meeting all locations must be in the city of Seattle.

If you would like to have a meeting outside the city limits please contact me (Shannon) and we can most likely make that happen. Also, if you would like to have a discussion of another book at another time (other than our 'regular' book and meetings) please let me know and I can help make that happen too!

Seattle people: Let me know if you want to do another meet up on this book (Garden Spells). I am willing to put something together if there is enough interest.

I really enjoyed this book, I just wish it was longer as the characters, including the apple tree were so interesting.

Well, it was a dark and stormy night, and I couldn't find the house, so I decided to go home and curl up with another good book by Sarah Addison Allen. Hope you all had fun! I loved the book!

So sorry Nora! Glad you liked book though. I think that was the general consensus among those who were there last night.

I'm just joining the group - has anyone in the North End finished the book and would be willing to loan it to me? Looking forward to the meeting regardless.

LOVED the book and looking forward to discussing it with you ladies.

Glad you said nibbly bits as opposed to wibbly bits (though I always have those with me).

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
