I got my first bike when I was 8....first cruiser in high school...took an almost 20 year hiatus...and started up again in 2005. Since then I have logged around 25,000 miles and traveled through 13 states, with many more yet to come!
Growing up around them with my dad, who owned one of the original GL 1100 Gold Wing Interstates. For years I pondered getting back into riding before finally taking the plunge. Once bikes are "in your blood," it's hard to leave them behind.
Currently own a 2006 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe...and my little 50cc Buddy scooter that carts me around for most of my in town commuting!
Anything between[masked] or so miles per day...my biggest requirement is curves and scenery and enjoyable terrain. E.g., it took a group of us over 8 hours to ride from Springfield to St. Louis last June...and I was lovin' every minute of it!!!
I have been a teacher for 20 years and love what I do! Much of my time is devoted to working out and enjoying the outdoors any way that I can...motorcycling being one of my favorites!!!
You would be hard pressed to find better friends to spend the weekend with...hard pressed!!
