Usually this place is very hectic on the weekends, but if the weather is bad, it is empty. It is also not bad during the off season. I will only cancel if it is flash-flood type of rain, a light rain doesn't stop me. If it snows, that would be really cool!
We will take a short (1 mile?) hike to Deer Hollow Farm and back. Bring water and snacks and maybe a hat. Weather can change suddenly, so a hoodie and a rainhat recommended. This is an easy hike, no hills. It shouldn't take us much more than 2.5 hours.
The Farm has a cow, goats, huge pigs, chickens, and a one-legged goose.
Those that want more of a rigorous workout can do the loop, hike up the PGE trail (no-host), catch a mountain lion, play tennis, ride your horse. ---FYI, I won't be doing any of those things this time around, so please yourself.
