Dyer Park has 560 acres of multi-use facilities including 4 plus miles of walking trails up and down hills (55 ft. above sea level) mostly on paved surface. Dyer is a huge open park with paved and unpaved walking/biking/horse trails, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, pavilions, bathrooms, lakes and wildlife; all monitored by security. It's a great place to walk, bike or have a day party. It used to be a trash dump, nothing's perfect, but it's now beautifully green and alive, and it's FREE! Since it will be Christmas Eve the walk will end during late morning so everyone can go about their holiday business after an interesting time exercising and socializing on the trails. Our pace will be about 2.5 mph. Feel free to bring a friend, neighbor or visiting relative. Bring more than one if you'd like. There are restrooms and water in several locations. I've hiked there several times and I recommend the park for our group. Leader Steve [masked][masked]-2222.
