I'm stepping up so that this group doesn't disappear. I've paid for three months to get it going again. If things don't work out, at least I'll have given it a shot and maybe somebody else will try.

I work multiple jobs, am taking classes, and belong to several Meet-ups, so I'm busy. I'll try to schedule a few things during the next several weeks. (The timing of this is bad because my kids are moving home for spring break, and I intend to spend time with them, too.) I'm also expanding the "reach" of this group to include southern suburbs, which is where I live.

This group is for Christian single Baby Boomers (born between 1946 and 1964 or a little on either side) interested in developing friendships and fellowship close to home and without the bar scene. Let's meet over coffee, dinner, game nights, outings, and other activities that we'll all dream up. Are you ready to "get out of the boat" and take a risk and get a chance to build some authentic friendships? I've lived here only a couple years and haven't found a resource for Christian fellowship with others that are living single. I've also found that although there are great options on Meet-up, there are few that are held in the S/SW suburbs. After commuting to work, I'd like to make friends closer to home. So, what do you think? Want to join me on this new journey?
