Westside Thanksgiving (Volunteer any/all shifts)

Westside Thanksgiving Dinner (Volunteer)

Westside Thanksgiving serve Thanksgiving lunch every year to 1000's people in need..... I am going there around 10 am possibly with my parents, be there till 3 or so volunteering multiple shifts, you can stay for 1 shift if that's all you can... they have been doing this since 80's... best part is they don't even publicize the event, no media's allowed as they think it corrupts the significance of giving... old style of sharing... my type of sharing..!

Anyone interested, let me know.. feel free to join me....

How do I volunteer to help?
That's easy! Decide which of the five shifts (starting promptly at 6am, 8 am, 10am, noon, and 2pm.) you want to work, arrive early to park off-site and walk to the volunteer entrance.

What time is dinner?
We’ll serve lunch between 11am-2pm this year. Then we’ll clean up until 4pm.

Where is the dinner?
Thanks to St. Anne Catholic Church and School, we will be at their facility. Colorado Ave/20th Street

What do you need for the celebration that I can contribute?
We need lots of clothing, clean in good condition, especially men's pants, blankets, jeans, tees, shoes, toys for kids. We need food and drinks. We need money to pay a lot of expenses. Nurses, Docs, Salon Specialists, and volunteers can help them a great deal. We need people who can organize their friends and groups to collect all kinds of donations. We need people to come work with us, especially in the afternoon/clean-up, post production shift
