GROUP GUIDELINES



The 50 + Single Socializers is not a dating group. While it is a group for single men and women, and the possibility exists where a couple may begin dating as a result of meeting at the group, it is strictly for singles. If two group members meet and begin an exclusive, permanent relationship (such as engaged or married) they cease to be considered "single" and will no longer be deemed as such. It is at this point that the couple will resign from the group.

Dress for the group is casual. That being said, dress should be modest and not provocative which could cause others to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed.

The Organizer of this group has the right to expel members for any behavior that causes the group (whether one member or many) to feel uncomfortable or to experience disharmony. Disharmony is defined as:

1. "No nude or pictures with offensive gestures will be allowed. Members will be immediately removed."
2. Verbally insulting other members
3. Becoming intoxicated at any event
4. Misrepresenting yourself in any way--gender cross-dressing, fake profile, hidden agendas, trying

to gain information about other members for personal profit or gain. If the Organizer learns a member is doing this, he or she will be banned from the group without an explanation given.
5.ANY BEHAVIOR that causes members of the group to feel uncomfortable will NOT be tolerated and is reason for expulsion from the group.
6. Trying to usurp organizer's authority and take control of the group.
7. Loud, boisterous behavior that is embarrassing to the members, drawing attention from other restaurant patrons.
8 Attempting to pull members from the group to begin your own group.
9. Making sexual gestures or remarks that cause offense to other members.
10. Married members who claim to be single will be immediately expelled
11. Any member who harasses another member for any reason
12. You must post a recent photo of yourself.

We want this group to be a success and fun for all. Any of the above things will cause people to drop out and it is unfair to ruin an entire group just because one member wants to behave in an unacceptable manner.

We do have a attendance policy that states if you have 3 "no shows" or 2 months of "inactivity"  you will be removed from the group.

We have waited a long time for a group like this to open up. I will not allow this group to be ruined by one person. Let's act like adults, have fun and RESPECT everyone in the group!
