I'm new to San Francisco and not working right now.
When I learned that the organizer of this group was leaving, rather than see this group die, I thought to see if I could use the group to expand opportunities to meet people and talk about some of the issues I'm facing. They probably are questions that many people have, including which groups offer good opportunities to move around easily to begin to make friends.
