about 120 players this afternoon (six 514'ers?). Top 12 cashed, made it to 23rd. Better luck next time! One way to spend $40 if you like reading poker faces ;)
I have an appropriate table or three in my home for players for low stakes Hold 'Em sit and go tourneys, for starters. Small-stakes side cash games .25/.50 have developed, and if there's interest we might add a regular day and/or have spontaneous meet-ups as we communicate.
There's a porch for chillin or expanding the play as the group grows, there's a pool table for pre and post-play billiards, and there's a kitchen for you to heat up some food or store your byob drinks for the evening. There's a fireplace, a nice and not obnoxious stereo, and a plasma available if you want to monitor a game. Other activities may develop out of our group, as the members associate. There's a private back yard with a nice Weber grill. I'm a broad-minded individual who has poker as an interesting hobby, and I have the space and time so hence the group creation.
it's a good tournament - no re-buy so you know it's a $40 game, not $80-120 w/ people rebuying ..will see if I can make it
