Gracie Mansion was originally built in 1799 as a country house for New York merchant Archibald Gracie. It was taken over by New York City in 1896, and became the centerpiece of the newly created Carl Schurz Park. The guided tour will begin at 1:00 pm sharp, and will last 45 minutes. There is no seating, and we will have to stand for the entire tour. General admission for adults is $7.00, seniors 62 and above, pay $4.00. Please bring cash to give the organizers your admission money beforehand. The mansion contact has requested that. Please bring the EXACT AMOUNT as the organizers will not be able to make change.
