                                          Alley Pond Park

Second-largest public park in Queens, New York. It occupies[masked] acres. The land that makes up Alley Pond Park was acquired over the course of many years between 1927 and the present. The landscape itself, however, came into existence roughly 15,000 years ago, during the Pleistocene Epoch, when a passing glacier carved out the landscape of New York City.

This park is short walk from several bus stops.

There are multiple parking lots for this park we will meet at the 76th Ave Parking Lot.

Bring some water, Bananas or Granola Bars, Bug Repellant & Sunblock.

Duration approx 3+ hours, approx 6+ miles

This is an event organized for our friends to get together and socialize. We are not professional hikers or professional organizers. You are welcome to join us but before you attend you must familiarize yourself with the risks associated with this type of activity.
