Sunday Run on the Manayunk Towpath

Next weekend is the Arts Festival in Manayunk. Let's meet for an early morning run (we'll see how we feel - 3 - 5 miles?) on the Schuykill River Trail going towards Conshohocken and grab some coffee at this cute place afterwards:

Arts Festival starts at 11:00 if anyone wants to peruse that!

I believe the trail head is at Main Street and Lock Street.  It's the first place you can go on the trail towards Conshohocken.

It's going to be a hot morning! Make sure you come hydrated as there is no tree cover on this trail. I'll be the short woman wearing a cherry and white Abington t-shirt and black shorts standing by the trail head.

    Is there a meet-up spot?

The beginning of the schuykill river trail. I believe it's Main Street and either lock street or Jamestown. There's a sign that says what it is and a water ice stand on the corner.

    Is this for advance runners?

No ... All levels are welcome. It's an out and back path, so you can do as many miles as you want.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
