A Call to Dance the 5Rhythm 'Wave' for self-development, freedom, & community. Put the self into motion to music and explore different ways of being and moving -on your own and with others.
We shall be dancing every Sunday afternoon in February opposite the Art Museum in Charles Village.
3.00 pm - 5.00 pm
Led by Richard Jerram
We intend to dance more than twice a month in 2014, but it will not be every Sunday. Check out this MeetUp & look out for emails.
Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms® of Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, and Stillness form ‘The Wave’, a simple movement meditation practice that encourages us to find our own dance of embodied feeling and to discover ourselves at our most fluid and creative level, bringing more of ourselves –body, heart, mind & soul- into movement, on the dance floor & out in the world. There are no steps to learn and it can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of age, fitness, ability, or experience.
Please note that this event is promoted in various forms and is not a pure Meetup event. Not everyone RSVPs, but Past Meetups do show the correct attendance.
$15 Students / Elders / Unemployed
$10 Newcomers to 5Rhythms
Parking in the area should be free on Sundays.
