Once a month one core ingredient is prepared in 6 different ways by creative chefs at reknown Efendy Restaurant. Different cooking techniques and recipes are drawn from cuisines around the globe and served to 60 people. 6 Degrees brings like-minded people together to engage and indulge in a unique food experience. Mingle in the casual, stand up environment while sampling and discussing the 6 exotic dishes. At the end of each evening, the group chooses the next core ingredient.

In the month leading up to the event, Sally and Utku research, write and share various aspects of the star ingredient via the 6 Degrees facebook and meetup pages. We discover; how the ingredient is used in different cultures, the origin, varieties found around the world and in Sydney, nutritional information, best known cooking techniques, how to season, marinate, eat, store, what to and what not to cook & drink with.

$45 per person and we offer a fully catered bar with affordable local wine and beer that match the event's theme. Glasses of specially selected, matched red and white wine for $6, bottles for $23 and boutique beer for $6 as well as a themed cocktail for $10.
