Art Critic? Art Connoisseur? Or just someone who enjoys good social gatherings?
Join our group of friends on Friday about 5:30 PM until 8:30 P:M (or so) and let's visit some art studios in the Dupont Circle area of Washington, DC. The Dupont Metro station is within one block of the art studios and galleries.
We can meet initially at the Q Street Gallery which is hosted by Barbara Bennett. Thereafter, how about a stroll through DuPont Circle and maybe a drink in a small cafe later in the evening?
Barbara Bennett has opened her Q Street gallery doors and two artists should be present to discuss and explain their artistic work in Bronze, paintings, and other forms. She usually provides finger food and something to drink.
After sharing her hospitality, we can walk to other locations nearby or stay and enjoy Barbara's hospitality.
Attire should be slacks and sport shirt for me and appropriate for women.
This is a monthly event happening on the first Friday of each month. I will make a separate announcement each month but feel free to put this event on your calendar for the rest of 2013.
Be advised there are about 35 steps from the ground floor to the second floor. We can meet at another gallery for anyone with issues climbing stairs.
