Tea session

Tea session in Richmond to launch the 6 Mountains brand. Socialize and drink great tea. Meet and greet with 6 Mountains Pu Erh and Ginseng teas, to be followed by more formal sit down kung fu style tea (at tables instead of floor seating this time). Easy to get to on sky train (adjacent to River Rock casino).

Thanks Eric for organizing a such great event. I was amazed by the pu erh, especially the last two which had very strong Cha Qi that gave my body the flow of energy. The aroma was pleasant and deep. The flavor transformed very well to a sweet aftertaste that was smoothing and calming. I really enjoyed. Felt I didn't have enough, too bad I had to leave before it ended :( Hope we can have more events coming :) Thanks again for the great tea & good work!

'The Chinese Tea shop' on W. Pender in Chinatown is a good source for tea ware. Daniel, the owner, is very knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Great. Many people enjoyed the chairs and table approach. Piles of amazing leaves and piles of great people.

As long as you sit up straight sitting in a chair is almost as good as floor sitting or tea meditation. It's better in a way because it allows some people to relax more than if they were sitting cross-legged. We can also accommodate a larger group this way.

    My body is very warm.
And my skin is very good condition today.
I think it's the effect of tea.
    Thank you very much.

    I cannot speak much English.
However, I would like to participate because I love tea.
I am looking forward to that.

Too bad you're missing the first one, but it won't be the last. Think you'll like the new style when it works out to come.

We don't generally snack with the tea -- hence the tea meditation title. I will pick up some cookies or something for after the tea. The classic is to eat fruit of some sort after Pu Erh. If you want to bring your own for after the session that's fine though I would ask that people don't eat while the tea service is going on. Hope that helps.

Good sized group coming together. The venue can handle 30 without much trouble and I have made adjustments to the set up to speed things up when dealing with a larger group.

Pu Erh is known as the king of teas. It is a Chinese post-fermented black tea. Most health benefits of any tea. It is also the original tea species on earth. It is a must try I would say. I am biased to be sure but I'm sure most repeat attendees of the meetup would agree. Hope to see you there.

I was about to do the same thing. That's when I saw the meetup. It's always a good day when a tea meetup is coming.

6 Mountains is the brand I've been working on for the last year, bringing the tea of Bai Shui Qing to the Western world.
