I am SO looking forward to this upcoming event! You should be too! Although this is almost two weeks away, we need to know ahead of time who our volunteers will be...so act now, don't put it off!

Opportunity of the NEW YEAR is HERE!

February 4th, Saturday, 1-6:30 pm, Hurst Conference Center will have the "Tarrant County Conservative Candidate Fair & Straw Poll"...but the name doesn't say it all...There is also Grassroots Training that will be happening on the same day!

[This MAY take the place of our Feb 6th Meeting-so watch the website or your emails for updates!]

As for the 'VOLUNTEERS': We still need at least Volunteer Assistants to help in various aspects. You will still be able to enjoy the fair, as we will be taking turns working. For attendees, you can also take advantage of the Grassroots Training that will happen between 2-5pm.

To VOLUNTEER, you can contact Cindy at # below, or from the Contact link on this email or our home page. However, you can drop on in about 10:30 am- wear a Red shirt, and locate the Keller Boiling Point Tea Party group table, and ask for Marie Howard, as she can give you an assignment.  I will also be there, but not sure where I will be.  If you can only volunteer later in the day, just stop by the same table, and offer to help if they need any.

There will be an ISSUES table will have our  "Petition for a Law Against Mandatory Smart Meter Installation" so we can gather more signatures, as well as a flyer with more information.

Everyone can use this training- but if you are a Precinct Chair-I think it will be indespensible! The only catch for this TRAINING is that you MUST RSVP! {details provided when available-I suggest looking at their website for details!}

As for the REWARDS: Opportunity to participate [VOTE!] in this very important STRAW POLL, and SEE the process in action. Opportunity to talk personally with many of the candidates at their own 'tables'.

Meet new 'like-minded' people (activists) to strengthen your ability to be a 'grassroots activist'.

Have access to the very excellent FREE "Grassroots Training" to help you in your grassroots activism.

Participate in helping fight the 'mandatory' implementation of Smart Meters by signing our 'PETITION'. A great 'jump-start' to 'Kick off 2012' for FREEDOM!
