Attn.-Delegates (or those who want to be) for Republican Convention

Being a Delegate allows you to vote on Resolutions that may eventually become part of the Party Platform.  You do this by attending the District Convention (ours is April 21, Pantego Bible Church), then the State Convention in June (I believe) which is in Fort Worth this year! (How convenient- a good year to hop in and get your feet wet!)

So, would you like to participate?  Those who went to your Precinct Convention will be aware that at the convention Delegates are nominated (some nominate themselves, some nominate others).  Some of you may have become Delegate nominees.  If not, there is still a possibility to get nominated as a Delegate.  I would recommend for you to reply to me or call me (or contact your Precinct Chair) if you want to be a delegate and you did not get nominated at your Precinct Convention.

Either way, if you already volunteered as a Delegate or would like to, there is an interview process.  This is why I am writing this email.  For those in Senate District 9, (what is my district?) there are at least 3 opportunities to get the interview completed.  I will post them below.  I am not sure about any other of the districts.  Perhaps your Precinct Chair or other District person will contact you.

DATES AND TIMES FOR INTERVIEWS: (Be prepared to be 'interviewed' about your party or political activities- i.e. members of political or Republican clubs/groups, activism, precinct activity (block walking, chair, etc.), Poll Worker, assist in any candidates campaign, or other related activity you have participated in.)

The first opportunity is Thursday evening - but, not to worry 2 more remain.
