propitious smiles of Heaven

Shamelessly paraphrased and plagiarized from a member. In the context of personal responsibility...

These quotes were forwarded by Paul C., the minister of record for His Church at Cape Cod, and I found them to precisely express my feelings about how we think today.  We have all been indoctrinated into a belief system, not a truth system, but a belief system. The belief system that we have all been raised up with is based on a little fact, evidence, and truth and a lot of deception and outright lies; lies about history, lies about law, lies about God/YHWH, lies about the Bible, lies about the Constitution, and lies about how our acts, words and deeds are the root cause of our own problems. The problems in our lives are not caused by other individuals or persons or legal fictions outside ourselves. Our lack of freedom, our lack of basic sound economic principles, our lack of education, health and general welfare is due to the reflection looking back at us in the mirror and our own ignorance and persistent dedication to cling to the system of deception that we base our whole society on. As John Adams is attributed as to saying, our wishes, our inclinations and passions will never change the facts, the truth or the errors of our ways. We only need to let go and become like little children again to unlearn all the lies and deception that has us bound up by our own acts, words and deeds and then choose to repent, turn around and seek to go another way. Hopefully if we are wanting our God given responsibilities and rights back, then the way we seek is the Way of God, His kingdom and His righteousness:

“Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclination, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” John Adams
“The propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained” — George Washington
