Thurman Tree Project

From: Michael P.

Hello Everyone!

We are in the home stretch of The 912 Project Trees to Thurman tornado relief project! We have a goal of 157 trees and as many saplings and shrubs as we can gather. So far the donations have been able to purchase 30 trees and 24 more have been donated! There is also a pledge of 25-40 trees from Earl May nursery and 100 saplings from the Little Sioux Scout Ranch that have yet to be picked up!

We will be heading to Thurman this coming Saturday at 9:30 am to set up and start distributing and planting. We are about at the half way mark for our goal and are asking to please consider contributing to this project! We will need to rent box trucks to deliver the trees undamaged, gas for trips to Little Sioux and Thurman, sandwiches, snacks and beverages for volunteers, and we still would like to secure as many trees as we need to make our goal!

Please help make this project an overwhelming success!
