A great American, a great Mississippian, and a great Jones Countian, Judge Charles Pickering will address the crowd. Judge Pickering has served our Country and State as a Federal Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, President of the Mississippi Southern Baptist Convention, Senator in the Mississippi Legislature, City Prosecutor for the City of Laurel, and many other honors.

June 30, 1776 members of the Continental Congress were arriving in Philadelphia and preparing for the next few days, which would result in a Declaration of Independence. They were weighing in their minds and hearts the gravity of their upcoming actions, which would basically lead to the signing of a death warrant if caught by the British. Today, we are wanting to restore the same spirit of the Founders without severing the ties from the U.S. Constitution; we want to return to the U.S. Constitution. With that Spirit in mind, let us make our own mark and pledges to Posterity.

Judge Charles Pickering's words inspired us all to never qive up. This was a great event that all benefited from. Thanks to Richard Conrad and all who worked to make it possible.

    •  Inspiring! Thank you to all those who organized the event and participated.
    •  This was my first meetup, and I was impressed by the spirit of the event, of the speakers, and of the attendees. It was hot and most people stood for the entire hour or so that the event went on, but everyone was excited and there was lots of applause and cheering every time a speaker mentioned founding principles or ideas based on those principles. I left the gathering energized and hopeful. I intend to do all that I can to encourage my friends and neighbors to get involved in our political process, hopefully on the side of constitutionality. I'm proud to be a part of the 912 project, and I'm glad I attended this meetup. I look forward to getting together with people of like mind on as many occasions as possible in the future.
    •  The speaker was great, one black person was there, and the closing song was good.

It had a good turn out. We enjoyed the speakers except we were disappointed that the democrated sheriff was there speaking. We do not care for his opinions. We very much enjoyed Judge Pickering. This was the first time we had to hear him speak. Having iced tea was a nice touch. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. People with the same principles and beliefs sitting and standing in union about a important issue.

The Judge was great. I agree with his views on most issues.
