Hi, Gregory, and welcome to the group. Are there any new developments in the Metro ordinances allowing and restricting backyard chickens? Chickens are great for a garden in several ways: they scratch the surface for you, eat bugs and grubs, eat seeds and weeds, and leave fertilizer on the soil. Once you plant, it's unwise to let the birds and the sprouts get together, a the birds will likely pull up or peck apart the sprouts.
