Wednesday Night Critique

We are using a read-aloud format. If you wish to have your work critiqued, please bring a short piece or chapter (about 3-5 double-spaced pages) to read out loud to the group. It can be any genre, including non-fiction or poetry.

You don't have to read - you can show up to listen and critique or just listen. We don't have set time limits on critiques - all we ask is that you be mindful of how many readers are reading after you so that everyone gets a chance to read.

We have a new place to meet! The E-mat has Stumptown coffee, treats and it's attached to a laundromat, so  bring your unmentionables (and your mentionables)

ran over a little too long, and a little noisy. But good helpful comments.

Hi, I will plan to attend the October meeting. What will I need other than the thirst for knowledge and the need to write?

So sorry I didn't make it! I got stuck at work, grrrrrrr! Double Grrrr! By the time I got out of there, it was like a quarter til 7 and I figured it would be more polite to just drive on by than to interrupt the last few minutes of what was probably a really great meeting. Some days, I just hate my job. Did I mention Grrrrrrrrrrrrr?!?!?!?!! Anyway, I'll be there next week, then will miss the next 3 for a yoga class but then I'll be back for the duration, LOL. Hope y'all had a great time!

Speaking for myself, I have no problem with you coming whenever you can get there.

It would be fine if you came late. Just as protocol going forward if someone joins late, please just take a chair and listen.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
