SW (Beaverton, etc) Critique Meeting

We are using a read-aloud format. If you wish to have your work critiqued, please bring a short piece or chapter (about 3-5 double-spaced pages) to read out loud to the group. It can be any genre, including non-fiction or poetry.

You don't have to read - you can show up to listen and critique or just listen. We don't have set time limits on critiques - all we ask is that you be mindful of how many readers are reading after you so that everyone gets a chance to read. This is a public venue so please support it by buying something. :)

Please RSVP so we know who is coming and can grab a big enough table to accommodate all of us.

I couldn't make it. I'm so sorry; I have a stupid condition that makes me a little weak sometimes, but I am so excited about seeing you fellow writers again!!!

I'm tentatively RSVP'ing if that's okay? I've been a little sick and am still weak, but I hope to feel good by this evening. I'm sorry it's tentative!

I've recently picked up quill again, after a long hiatus. Nothing new yet ready, but I've a few older pieces you may find amusing. Looking forward to meeting you.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
